We believe in promoting sustainable tourism, educating our users about wildlife protection, and providing easy-to-use reporting tools for any environmental concerns they may encounter. We are committed to using ArcGIS technology to create a comprehensive solution for responsible park exploration and environmental protection. Team Members
Adonai Garcia: Adonai is a 2nd year master's student in Civil Engineering at York University, holding master's degrees in smart mobility and drones' applications in engineering from Spain. His research focuses on electric cargo bikes in urban areas. Adonai has industry experience in sustainable mobility and road safety, currently serving as a transportation engineer at RidUp, a ridesharing app for York University. He is the president of the Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE) York University Student Chapter, and received the 2022 GIS Scholarship, placed 2nd in the 2022 App Challenge, and is the Chief Councillor of Lassonde School of Engineering at YUGSA. He is also involved in other campus initiatives, including the BEST Program and Teaching Assistanships.
Mojtaba Davoodi: Mojtaba is a highly educated individual with a passion for engineering and technology. He earned a Bachelor's degree in Surveying Engineering from the University of Tehran in Iran between 2007 and 2012. Later on, he pursued his interest in GIS by obtaining a Master's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on GIS from the K.N.Toosi University of Technology in Iran between 2013 and 2016. Currently, he is a graduate student in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Transportation at York University, Canada.
His interests are diverse, ranging from Geomatics, Geography, and GeoSpatial Analysis to Transportation, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS). With his educational background and keen interest in cutting-edge technologies, he has the potential to make a significant contribution to the field of Civil Engineering, GIS, Transportation and beyond.
